My New Setup

Well, my Alienware laptop is ending in a few hours, and is looking good. I also just got in my new computer and monitor Friday. I installed my new graphics card and hooked everything up, and I have been loving it.

Its perfect for my needs, and had plenty of power to last me for awhile until I need to upgrade, I can't wait to start doing some 3D Modeling with it. All I have done so far is install stuff, and play Crysis.

I have also installed Windows Vista, admittedly, I was scared of Vista and the compatibility issues, yet the more I have researched Vista, it seems most people that are having problems just have outdated computers for the most part. My computer runs Windows Vista x64 great, and I did not have a single problem installing anything, everything seems to be working great, and I love the new Vista look.

Here is the specs of my current setup:
-Intel Quad Core Q6600 @ 2.4GHZ
-4 GB of RAM
-MSI GeForce 8600GTS Over-clocked edition video card
-320 GB HD
-DVD-RW with Lightscribe
-Windows Vista x64 Home Premium
-22" Viewsonic flatscreen LCD monitor with built in Webcam, using DVI.

Here is some new pictures of my setup (along with my Alienware laptop):
